Lookin' good. How do you feel about a debaged grille? I had the oem blacked out with the emblem still chrome but I just recently swapped it to a black badgeless grille. It would give a clean look with your dipped front bumper.

The roof would be a good touch. If you do more, then do both hood and trunk and follow the lines for the hood from the sides of the windshield to your grille. Don't do the whole hood.

I have been contemplating inside the hood lines. Wanna get the roof done first. Trunk is out of the question though.
I dont see the need to have the badgeless grille. I kinda like the blacked out VW logo like that. :thumbup:

How did you fill in the license plate holes?

JB Quik Weld. Pretty easy job. I had to do two applications...The first to get a base layer then a second to fill in smooth. A little sanding after that makes a nice clean appearance. Probably looks like crap without the dip on there, but the dip is on there sooo....

Front Mount! Had it running for a week now and its a pretty awesome mod. Didnt realize how much heat soak i had. Sounds pretty cool too!

Core when i got it secondhand:

After a half hour with a screwdriver:

Cold side/DV relocate:

Hot side that i used the old manifold side hose as the turbo outlet pipe because i didnt order the connecter. :banghead:

You also may have noticed my roof is now black. Couple cans of plastidip took care of that. Turned out decent.

very nice build! was looking into plasti-dipping my front sections like yours. How much did it take to do the whole thing and did you use rattle-can or the actual paint can stuff?

The front "V" was less than a rattle can. The roof took 3 rattle cans i think but i put on a lot of layers.

Stupid plastic clip on the pull cable broke, so I rigged that up with an "L" bracket until I have time to pull the window out to replace the cable the right way.
