Where and when do you use your City Lights (euroswitch)?

Ok,

I have my b5.5 euro Bi-Xenons installed, and have been researching getting the euroswitch which as I understand it allows you to turn on your city lights on without turning on the HID's.

When I turn my car off, the HID's go off and the city lights stay on (until I turn my existing switch) and I really like the look of them.

For those of you with the euroswitch and relay 173 pulled, how when and where do you use your city lights? Do you ever use them? ... and is it just me or do they look cool - Even the stock color.

I use mine all the time. I ran my fogs as DRL's because the city lights just wont cut it. I want to be seen on the road. Yes even in the summer

Wish we could be like you guys. Leave your fogs on in this country and the police pull you over and fine you. I have my 'city lights' on in anything darker than a bright overcast day, during daytime that is. When it gets darker, dipped go on.

I don't understand that, when I was driving in Germany last year I was driving around with the fog lights on in my A4 rental (b/c I always turn them on when driving over here) and I was constantly getting flashed by everyone until I turned them off. I'm not sure if that was a ticketable offense in Germany, but it sure ticked off the locals.

In the city. And the suburbs. As a matter of fact, all the time that is not nighttime, kind if like DRLs. I only use the fogs when I need to like when it is foggy out. I have the 42DD LED city lights, they are really blue and look better than the high-intensity ones.

you can get these 6leds (w5w, 194) from superbrightleds.com... the reason i am not running those anymore it's because the led output was bright but wasnt wide, so it only shoots straight pretty much. they are really bright, but for i went through about 6 of those in a few months because they burn out (or simply some of the leds stop working properly, either totally die or start blinking). the superbrightleds people said it was a bad batch and sent me replacements but they still behaved the same way... so i am staying away from them from now on altough i am tempted to try the wide leds they now got.
