Not sure, but I think the # is also on the Sirius module in the passenger side compartment in the hatch. Open the hatch and look to the right and you'll see the cover. Take it off and you'll see the module. You might need a flashlight to read the #.

 

I'll grab the manual from mine and see how to access it from the menu. I know there is a way, but can't remember.

"Turn the menu knob, until channel 0 is displayed or press "list" and "ESN" buttons in succession"

Problem

I think there is a problem with the radio. First of all the radio shows it is updating all the time while it is saying to call Sirius to activate. also, I dont see a "list" or "ESN" button. When you say menu knob, you mean the knob on the right of the radio , right?

 

I found it!

I found the Sirius numner in the hatch right after I found the hatch.
I will call Sirius and see if it works. Thanks!

 

Thank you Incrementalg! I called Sirius with the number I found on the module in the back and they were able to activate the radio. Thank for your help on the radio and for telling me I had hatches. Happy Thanksgiving.

ps-Make sure you are not near another one of your Sirius-activated cars when they send the signal to your Passat. I got our Passat set-up with them one Saturday in the driveway and the following Monday, the previously activated radio in my GTI (parked 20 feet away) wouldn't work.
