A few months ago i started getting the engine malfunction light on, so i got the codes from autozone, and it threw a p1296 code, low coolant level, coolant temp sensor and something else. My coolant level is normal, and i just replaced my Coolant Temp Sensor a few hours ago, it was annoying because of so little space to work with, but i finally replaced it. And i started my car, but the engine malfunction light is still coming on! Is it my coolant thermostat now or something? i really need some help guys, please advice me on what to check on next. Does the light eventually go away? or is it supposed go away right away when i change the Temp Sensor? I know i have a lotta questions, please guys write me back.
