Nice, I just realized that my passat has a cup holder, but I would never trust it.

 

Funny how I was just thinking about this on the drive back home from work....would like to know some good options as well

 

God saw fit to give each of my passengers two permanent cup holders. I did my 5.5 swap for me

 

I must be one of the only people that love the hidden cupholders in the b5. I use them often.

As far as the passengers; No cupholder means no cup. No cup means no spillage.

 

I hate those cup holders on the B5. Now there at the point where they dont even close back into there secret location anymore. Need to get this thing replaced or fixed.

 

^ I hope you have better luck than me. The dash cup holder wouldn't close, and the tabs inside were broken so I couldn't remove it to clean/replace. I drilled a screw through it to keep it shut once I did the swap, and covered it up with the wood trim piece.

 

The only rear cup holders in my B5.5 are in the armrest (under the cover?). There's an ashtray where there should be cup holders. Unless I'm missing something?
