Seems there are a lot of good old boys that are now banned. I'm not sure I know why as nobody seems to want to talk about it for fear of the black helicopters I guess :icon_eek: . It's a shame that things like this go on. People vanish from the club and nobody feels like they can talk about it. Like what was the deal with Nick from San Diego? He had the slammed colorado red B5, and from everything I saw from him he seemed like a good guy. I know he's been banned but why?

 

Something happened Alex. Most of the people banned now were involved.

Hey! I got to meet Steve when I was in school down South. Made a trip over to his place and he helped install a boost guage with me. Good guy for sure. He never told me why he was booted from CB5 but now he makes home at T-region as do a few CB5ers -banned an unbanned.

He was about to part out his car. However, he came to his senses and is still in the drivers seat.

Alrighty then. Peace! Stephen. The only guy with 3 digit post count.. but hey I was around in those days. Just studying too much thats all.

 

I hav'nt been posting very much since www.clubb5.com closed down, but I also noticed that some "old guys" like Scuba and others are gone.... Banned...no..???

the got banned for bashing clubb5.com on another forum, thats the cliffs notes version. i definetly miss them all those guys added alot of insite to this forum

 

I must say, to start this post, that i am not trying to stir anything bad, and i don't know the exact reasons why they got banned, but damn, some of those guys were great to chat with and help on the B5's, especialy and including Steve (Scuba Steve), Nick (redscb5 i think...) from Cali and a couple of others as well that does not come to mind right now but we did lose quite a few. What about the guy who had the Black B5, he use to live in Cali but moved. As a matter of fact, he had some pics of his car and Nick's together.

Anyways, i enjoy the peeps we have now here for sure but i miss those guys.

 

I completely agree with you Yannick. Those guys were good people and had great information to lend. I wish and hope that maybe they will be allowed back into Club B5 (I just can't bring myself to call it PassatWorld) in the near future. I'm sure whatever they said that was negative about the site or it's operators was a mistake that they wish they could take back. I think I can speak for a lot of people on this club that we all have some issues from time to time but when it really comes down to it, this site is the best, most usefull, inspiring site for anyone who owns a Passat that exists on the web.

A big "Thank you" to the Greek and the rest of the moderators that make this site a reality, and a small hope and wish that they might some day see it in their hearts to bring back some of the good ones that went away.

Everybody regrets the loss of their contributions. Some of them go a long way back with the other mods. It was not a lightly-made decision.
