I like the clean side skirts. I wish they made low key sideskirts like that for the B5.5.

The color choice for this car is not flattering for the body kit. The matte gray just makes the kit look like it was unfinished.

Yes...except for that dentilated effect under the snout; the "toothy" look is kinda creepy (CHILLS).

Don't like. Front pictures it looks like it has teeth. Could combine it with the front end of a Jeep Liberty for the whole smile.

I talked to the rep yesterday over at the show. he said they are coming out this summer, and will cost roughtly 400 dollars each. the normal bumpers are the same price right now. he said it should be out before the fall.

I think the current grill is much nicer BUT the rear certainly looks better on this vehicle.

I thought it was okay until I saw that rear bumper. I guess VW have to work overtime to out-Camry-SE the Camry SE. And what's with that dentil moulding on the front bumper? At $4,500, it's leave you totally Baroque.*

Actually it doesn't look too bad. I went to the NY autoshow yesterday and I think the car looks great up close. I take back what I said before.

 

someone asked for further away shots. I took some, and will post them here tonight once i get home... It looks better in person than on pcs, but hell $4500? that's a pretty good used B5 right there... lol... i'd rather get a b5 for my wife than a body kit for the B6...

It may leave you "broke", but the dentils are definitely Greek Revival.

 

actually at $4,500 it's pretty reasonable since the package includes the following:

- front and rear skirts with color contrasting elements
- honeycomb-designed grille
- side sill kit
- integrated trunk lip spoiler
- oval-shaped exhaust tips
- 18-inch titanium colored alloy wheels, wrapped with 235/45R18 high-performance summer Pirelli tires
- performance lowering springs
- paint and installation (if bought as an option package)

A complete B5.5 Votex kit only includes the front, rear and side skirts and probably costs just as much if you factor in paint and installation.
This is OEM quality parts (polyurthane) and installation, and has a factory warranty to go with it -- I think it's a good deal.
