Negative battery strap

Hi all,

Went to start the car earlier and there was nothing. Checked under the bonnet, and can see the battery negative wire has come away from the chassis due to rust. How can I reattach and is there somewhere I can connect it to at least get the car started.

I had a similar issue on my son's car and was able to attach it about 2-3" away where there was another bolt hole.
