So the noob tube states
Q) What Kind Of Coolant Should I Use In My Passat? A) Only Use OEM VW G12 Coolant. Do Not Mix With Any Other type Of Coolant!
can an OEM G12 coolant be mixed with Pentosin Pentofrost SF? I have searched and as far as I can tell that is a USA version of the OEM G12.

Thanks

My question originated from exactly this. Dealer is a 20 miles away; but I forfeit 1-2 hours. Box store in and out in 20 minutes. I need to top up my fluids…

I use Pentofrost SF, which is a G-12. I thought Pentosyn was one of VW's OEM suppliers of vital fluids. (I use their CHF-11S power steering fluid, as well.)
Good to know – thanks

Pentofrost SF or ++ are fine, as are VW G12, G12+, G12++, and G13 (I guess the post you referenced above is a little outdated.)

For PSF, you can use Pentosin CHF-11S or CHF-202 or the VW OEM stuff.
