Help a newbie! Just bought a glx wagon

I am wondering why my 04 glx wagon (5M) does not have integrated turn signals on side mirrors. I picked it up a little over a week ago (4/16) and just noticed this.
I paid $26.7 and thought this was a great deal. Can somebody help me out here? Did i get jerked? Should this car be cheaper?

I believe the integrated turn signal are a rolling change for the 2004 model year. You must've purchase an '04 manufactured before the changeover.

What date was your Passat manufactered?
My 2004 GLS has the integrated turn signals it has the manufacted date of 11/03.

I have not yet seen a GLX with the integrated signals, although there are plenty of fresh GLS's with them. I am guessing that there was more GLX inventory on hand prior to the change.....
