Actually, it depends on what model year you have.
If you have a 98 B5, you may have amber lenses with clear bulbs.
If you have an early 99 you have clear fluted lenses at the corners with amber bulbs, and amber side markers (repeaters) with clear bulbs.
If you have a 99-01.5 B5, then you have clear fluted lenses with amber bulbs.
If you have a 01.5-present B5.5, i have no clue on the corners, but clear repeaters with amber bulbs!

 

wow, I sure wish they would pick a design and stick with it. I fall right on the line between early and late 99. I guess I have to open her up and see. Thanks for the info.

P.S. if it turns out I need to buy amber bulbs, does anyone have a good place to get them?
