Carbonio showed a new version at SEMA this year. I couldn't tell you who online has it though.

 

I've heard from Audizine........they stop selling it 'cuz people complaining too much about the price. Not sure though. Just wait for the ABD or Boostedtech....... they seem to be the only ones definately coming out with one.

I don't trust the abd design enough to buy one. I'd only get one that pulls air straight from the outside. Does boostedtech do that?

 

I think you'll see more Carbonio performance products for VW/Audis soon. Carbonio recently created an alliance with APR to improve product development and distribution to the VW and Audi markets.

At the APR picnic (at their offices about 6 weeks ago?) APR had on display prototype carbon fiber engine covers and a prototype intake/airbox in an Audi A4/B5 (to go with the APR stage 3 setup). Was told that APR contributed the engineering and that Carbonio was to do the manufacturing. No listing on the APR site for the products yet - maybe give APR a call?

wst - the heatshield monting hole doesn't line up perfectly but all I did was use the OEM heat chield as a clamp to hold it in place. Everything else lines up and it works great.

Tico - I like it a lot. When I get on it you can actuall hear the air rushing in. It so cool!
