Check Engine light code ?

So today I start might car and my check engine light goes on , so knowing me I can't wait to check it because I juts get pissed when there is something wrong.
Well I went a shop in my school and read the code which was like
( P0411 Eng 1/1 ) I am not 100% sure that was the code but 90% sure. Well anyways I think the code said ( Secondary Air Injection )
there might of been something after the Secondary Air Injection word though I forgot.
Anyways I have a 98 Passat V6 2.8 manual with an EVo Intake inside.
If anyone can help me with this , I would be very greatfull.

Two words: VACUUM HOSE.

I just replaced all my braided hose and the one that was broken went to the valve that controls that pump. I was getting the same CEL/DTC combo plus an annoying emmissions workshop screaming at me every time I reved over 2K.

Can you tell me where should I search for the vacum hose.
I thought it might of been the EVO intake fault.

that happened to me also and it ended up being that the gas cap was not put on correctly the night before and there was an improper seal on the vapor return from that or also if you put gas in a station that has new or toooo old tanks the watter in the tanks can cause that also

Provided your intake hasn't eaten it, there is a vacuum hose routing diagram right in front of the intake duct near the grille. Use that to trace the lines.
