do i need to remove the bumper to change out the lamp assembly? Can i just pull it out? Any one have pictures are a good right up on how to do this, searched but have more questions afterr that, 2003 1.8T waggon.

Yes you need to remove the bumper to change the headlights. There is a writeup somewhere in the information base. I'm getting ready to do this myself once it warms up a little around here.
