Everyone has preferences, but does it really make any difference if you use Valvoline SynPower, VW OEM, ATE Gold, ATE OEM, or NAPA DOT 4. I am looking at the Napa DOT 4 for $21 per gallon. Looks like I need about 1/2 gallon per car and I have to do 2 cars. Valvoline is more like $30 for that quantity and the ATE's are $28-44.

Thanks,

If I tracked my car, it sounds like I'd be running DOT 3. I'm just looking for an OEM replacement that won't cause my clutch to squeak as ATE Blue has supposedly done to others. Has anyone used the NAPA Dot 4 or am I going out on a limb here :poke:

just fyi

ate blue doesnt qualify as any dot #

im still not sure why they went with dot5.1 instead of something like dot 6 since 5 and 5.1 are nothing alike
