And guess who got the first one.

Well I don't if I am the first one, but I do feel special with the new intake. Jason at ABD told me on Friday that they are waiting for the heatshield to come in and the kit will be ready. Well it's Monday, I took a day off and visited ABD and waited patiently while they open the plastic protectant wrapping to reveal the freshly coated heatshield and intake tubes. :Yikes:

The Master tech "Chad" hooked up the quick easy install and got the car jamming up and down the street in no time. The car deffinitely has more torque, as far as HP gains, I don't know till it's dynoed. But from the install and just looking at the construction, it's built to last.

I now have the Oettinger Sport Intake Pipe plus the ABD racing Intake providing my air consumption, now it's time for blow it out with an exhaust. ;)

The ABD is deffinitely a sweet piece, and for those with and intake pipe like Oettinger, Forge, Samco or even Neuspeeds, the ABD intake will work with them without a glitch!

Great job ABD! And spedcial thanks to Jason and Chad for hooking it up!!!

For those interested in the intake, they are NOW available but please don't contact me, contact ABD at www.abdracing.com.

Enjoy! Bernie

Now for the pics....

FINALLY!!! HOLY CRAP THE WAIT IS OVER!

AWESOME news!!!!

Now i just need to get some silicone couplings to match the blue samco pipes.

Does the paperwork that comes with it have the dimentions of the 3 couplings Dub?

Blue and Red with a Fresco Green car isn't very kosher.

Oh, once again, FREAKING SWEET!!!!!

looks good, was it $259. How does it sound?
It's actually $299.95, but if you tell them that dub-nation sent ya, you can 10% off right now! ;)

Bernie, where did you get the Oettinger intake pipe from? Would that replace the same thing as the Samco Turbo Inlet hose?
I got the Oettinger intake pipe from Oettinger directly. It's just the same as the Samco kit, but more expensive.

I think I left the instructions in the box, but you can just measure it. But I do agree blue and red on Fresco doesn;t mix too well.

wow, that big pipe is a part of the kit? looks good.
It's everything before the MAF sensor. After the MAF is the Oettinger Pipe.

wonderful thing is that you can re-enfore it...feels good to work on your own car...and what ABD made could be done by anyone but the overall finish is very nice and its nice and dipped into the fender well. thumbs up...$300 is a bit much

yeah but for $300 (like you said), you shouldn't have to re-enforce it ot modify it. I do like how the filter is way down in the fender though.

Do they recommend opening up the fender well or does it just suck from that space? The temps would be better, just not sure how much fresh air flow there is down there.

I agree with Rusty, that heatshield is tiny...to me it looks smaller than the one on my EVOMs intake...

IMO I still think it's worth it to make your own heatshield like Chas or my self did. 30-35 bucks and it works a whole lot better IMO.

Bernie, can you please confirm that the hump hose is angled slightly?

I'm trying to find an alternitive to RED freaking hoses, but i want to make sure i'm looking for the right part.

Also, Did the *3rd* hose there ( the one that connects to the turbo inlet pipe) come with the oettinger kit?

PLEASE let me know!!!!
