Anyone know where there is a decent write up on how to change the 3.6L engine's oil and filter? With pictures, preferably? Searched and could only find 2.0T guides.
I hope the 2.0T guides tell me all the same things I'll need to know for the 3.6. Does it use the same 36mm 6-point socket for the filter canister? Does it have the same filter bleeder valve? Anything else?
My guess would be yes - remove the belly pan and look before getting started.
My W8 uses the canister style filter (ala VR6) 36mm socket, and it has the bleeder valve (drain plug?).
Should be a fairly straight forward procedure - I always replace the oil drain plug crush washer as well.
