a - get what you want.

b - chroming adds weight and makes the metal alloy more brittle.

c - I think it looks a little to 'blingy' for my taste. I went with 'super silver' whells (kahn rss) and really like them on my ink blue variant. They are powder coated, not painted and the color has a richer look with out being bright chrome. here's a pic...

I wanted to accent all the chrome on my B 5.5, so chrome wheels were the only way to go. Besides, they are super easy to clean and turn heads because they can be seen better than silver-finish or mono-chromatic wheels. I even replaced the "Branzach" center caps with my factory VW wheel emblems to profess my love for all things Volkswagen!

There are better choices then the one you have listed above. IMO, Chrome is nice... but the car has to look nice with it. Some chrome rims are just too much for the B5, and B5.5's. I personally went with an Axis HyperSilver, which sometimes glistens like chrome, depending on the sun and light.

KvyKevin-
The tint covering the whole windshield serves me well in the Vegas heat, and cuts down on the glare from oncoming headlights at night. The VW center caps are off my stock wheels. I just popped them out with the back of a screwdriver and they fit nice in the Branzach wheels.

Customizing a vehicle is a matter of taste. Others may or may not like chrome wheels, but building a custom ride means making something YOU like. Most people dislike the color of my peach mini Blazer, but it's my truck, not there's.
