Just noticed my downpipe flexjoint on my '99 1.8T is deteriorating. Is it worth getting the $140 repair from ECS Tuning or putting that money towards a cat-back aftermarket exhaust system(that I'm having a hard time finding)? Thanks, Mike.

Call TechtonicsTuning. I had a complete 2.5" SS exhaust with downpipe from them. The flexjoint went (accident) and they sent me a new one for $40. Local indy shop rewelded (tig) it for $60.
