I will vouch for the quality of pittsburgh tools. They aren't the best, but I'd trust them over the brands sold at autozone and napa. They are very solid tools.

Just make sure you know what you are doing before you go at it. That is a lot of energy you will have wound up in those springs once they are compressed, and it can get dangerous really quick if you aren't careful. Wouldn't want to lose a fellow B5'er!

On another note, I agree with both the quality of Pittsburgh and the convenience of AutoZone. You can basically use all of their tools for free...being able to rent an OBD II reader has been a lifesaver.

 

yeah that would suck! a friend of mine is doing it; he says he's done it many times.

Dont know about auto zone, but Advance Auto parts told me $40 to buy one, and $80 to rent!!!
