I need to replace this part on my car and yes I'm a girl. I can do it but I have no idea where it is located..Without using technical terms can someone please tell me where the h*ll its located so I can replace it? I've replace many other parts on my own so yes I can do it if someone tells me where it is or can take a picture of the location.

Thank you~

Misread the request. You're covered by the answers above. And look under the front edge of the coolant reservoir. It will be down low, close to the driver's side engine mount from that illustration.

06B-103-245 isn't the EVAP purge valve. It's the PCV metering device (PCV valve). It's buried below the intake manifold. Look for some write-ups on the PCV system. There are a couple of threads with information and "how to" instructions floating around. Some people find it easier to remove the intake manifold to gain good access to that area. Often times you'll find the PCV parts break when you try to take them apart.

1.8t EVAP purge valve is located on top of the air box.

It's 4-6" below the 4th intake runner, parallel to the runner. It is inside of part 5 on the above diagram, so all you see is the clamp and hoses attached to it.
Parts #5 and #2 usually break when you try to change it. They also break on their own and may be the reason for the nasty smell under the hood (if that is the problem).
