I m very confused about this situation:

as some of you remembers, I got a flat tire weeks ago, tried to mount the spare and it wouldn t fit. some suggested the spare might be from an audi TT.
anyways, I ve been looking around for an 03 passat spare, found one on ebay, bought it, and today when i compare with the spare I already had they're the exact SAME ONES!!!

where is the problem? do I have two wrong spares, or are my wheels different??



for info, my 16" wheels look exactly like that

both wheels are 5x112, so why aren t the bolt patterns the same????

seems like one pattern is 'wider' than the other pattern, the space in between the holes is different.

 

get pics of both rims, the ones that fit and the ones that dont

 

not sure, it should fit. pics should help, along with measurements.
