I went to the paint shop the other day and they said that, there were 2 blacks offered in my 01.5, i believed that it was the B5 black and the B5.5 black, so i aksed him to check for 02 since that would be the B5.5 black, after checking that he told me that there were still 2 blacks, a regular and a "pearl/mettalic"
Before i get my stuff painted i wanted to confirm that mine would be:LO41

Actually it's Amber, not orange. It's Amber Fire Metallic Pearl from the PT Turbo. Definitely not a VW color. 8)

i have reflex silver. Its easy to keep clean, but way to comon. I'm thinking about re-painting my car 350Z blue, or PT cruiser orange

 

What about Black Magic Pearl? It says Z4 for colorcode in the volkswagen finland site but I guess the code should have 4 digits/letters. Have to check from the trunk sticker when I have time.

EDIT: OK, I checked the code and it says LC9Z, but the color is positively Black Magic Pearl, not Black Magic, this is very confusing :???:

Mine is green, LB6G (according to the sticker in the manual) but it isn't metallic!!

Go figure..

/e: The previous Passat ('98 AEB) was LC9Z, Black metallic (or pearl?).
