Does anyone know if the Audi A4 quattro 2002 seats are compatible with the Passat B5.5? Today I went to the junk yard and came across with this opportunity, my current seats are a bit damaged and the ones I saw look decent and are black leather, really cheap so if they are a direct swap I will buy them. I will appreciate your recommendations.

Looks like nobody has seen this kind of situation before. How about some slight modification? maybe swapping rails along with splicing wires to make work electrical connections? I already read other threads related to seats but none of them is about A4 to B5.5 seats compatibility. Any idea is appreciated.
Not a direct swap as the mounting is not the same. The A6 bolt right in. There have been people who have swapped them over, but they likely swapped the mounts over too.
Thank you PZ, at least I will not think in the A4 swap option and instead when I have the chance I will check on the A6, I have seen some of them. Do you know which A6 years, models, remain a direct swap? Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
The C5 A6, S6 and RS6, which I was from 98-04. They were available with comfort leather seats on the A6, Sport leather seats on the A6 2.7T and S6 and Recaro on the RS6 (2003 only).
