Last Jannuary I had a local mechanic replace my torn CV boots and rebuild the joints. I asked him to use raxles, but he insisted on his way if he was going to stand behind the work. 11 months later with the boots intact, they were both clicking. :banghead:

This time I called up and ordered two raxles from Marty at raxles.com last week and on 12/26 they arrived as expected. They included everything you need, tools, all bolts, even gloves and a shop rag. Last night I did the driver side following the excellent writeup in the info forum. Today I finished the passenger side and managed to put anti-seize on the dreaded pinch bolt for the UCA so it will come off if I decide to do my shocks. The main bolt was easy to remove which makes me think the shop that did them last year reused my original bolts. :hmmm:

I'm thinking I should try to take out the pinch bolt on the driver side and put anti-seize over there if I can get it out. I didn't need to disconnect anything to get the driver side out, all I did was turn the wheels and it provided enough clearance to remove the old and insert the new.

My new raxles arrive tomorrow! :)

I got sick and tired of replacing oem boots... discovered my fifth outer boot tear and first inner boot tear last week. Enough is enough.
