IIRC the car wont lock with the drivers door open...but if any of the other doors are open it will lock once they are shut (assuming the lock button is pressed). Somehow my wife locked our 2yr old (along with the keys) in the car. Luckily the doors unlock if the handle is pulled from the inside and she was able to convince him to open the door. :nervous:
