welcome, using some common sense, does it look like the cd player will play minidiscs?

 

i wonder if he means the smaller cd's,not MiniDiscs like the kind u play in a MiniDisc player

 

i think he ment the 3" cds if thats what you mean the answer is no those will only play on cd players that have actual cd trays

My factory CD player plays my laser disc, video tapes and cassette tapes so I don't think you will have any problems.

Wrong-o sparky. Every Alpine or Sony unit I've ever owned will play a 3" CD and NONE of them have trays. Even my IVA-C801 and my wife's 9815 will do it just fine.

It's pretty easy to tell if it will or not. If you start to put it in (maybe 1/2" or so) and you don't feel the bars at the front of the opening then take it out because it won't play it. If you do feel the bars, you can TRY to push it in. If it grabs it and pulls it in all should be good. Having said that,

the smaller diamater cd-r's you can buy ( i think thast what he means by mini) have a warning on them not to put them int slot load cd players

and why would you want to anyway
