Nice system guys.

I've been trying to find a suitable display for my 2K2 B5.5 with the double DIN Monsoon. I really dont want to swap that out. Any other options for installing a display ? Any pics ?

You could just do a regular 7" touchscreen lcd, you'd have to find a suitable place to mount it. I was thinking about going this route and putting it where the sunroof controls would be if I had a sunroof. There was a perfect size spot right there and I think it would look great, but if you have a sunroof then that spots not going to work.

I have a sidekick cellular phone which has wireless internet on it. If I switch phones I can connect it to the computer and surf the net. But I'd like to keep them separate for now before i get into an accident and the only excuse i have is "I was just checking my ebay auctions" I don't think the judge will ever let me drive again. Otherwise I have a wireless keyboard and mouse which I use. I haven't mounted the IR yet.

Dang greg thats a big powerbox you got there... Do you have it wired to the car for power? or you using a bunch of AC/DC converters

Yea, I need to get a DC/DC powersupply but I'm yet to find one that would be powerful enough to power 2 hds & the motherboard. I'm using a 250 watt atx powersupply & an inverter for now. Sure would be nice if I could get a smaller one.

well greg I have a really small power supply. It is just powerful enough to power two drives. One hard drive at 5400RPM and one cd rom drive. Or you can choose to setup two 5400RPM drives which you should be able to do safely. It is a 12V powersupply so I basically just connected it diretly to the car. Works pretty well so far. I don't have any problems. The powersupply is so small it fits on like a small chip taking up litterally no space.

I've seen some on ebay but they only put out 40 watts and power one harddrive. Both my HDs are 7200 rpm, I could go to one need be. I just setup the OS on one and the files on the other, so I don't really need both.
