You're right -- that warning light is about tire pressure. So first check your tires with a good gauge so you'll have a better idea of what's going on. Also check the door plate to get the proper pressure (on my Michelins its 35 psi -- or maybe 37). Sometimes dealers don't bother to set pressure correctly on new cars, and the TPMS seems to have a learning curve so it won't post an alarm right away.

Also, try to figure out whether or the throttle delay is just normal drive-by-wire operation (that is, it occurs chiefly or entirely when you're going slowly and try to accelerate just a little, as in turning a corner in light traffic).

for tpms, make sure it's the proper pressure and wait 5 minutes. if it doesn't go off, then something is wrong. if you have a vag-com, then you can read what each sensor is reading.
