About a year ago my coolant temp sensor went bad. I replaced it and noticed I was losing some coolant. I figured the c clip wasn’t doing its job because it was a bit deformed. I replaced that and it kept on leaking. So I replaced the sensor and o-ring chalking it up to bad aftermarket parts but still it leaked. Is there a better way to seal it? Have you guys had any luck stopping it?

If you have a plastic housing, check for cracks.
Another common issue believe it or not, is the presence of and old O-ring stuck in the bottom of the hole the CTS fits into.
That's pretty much a for sure leak there.

Yeah those plastic clips tend to not hold the CTS in very tight.
Metal clips are available from various places. Right off the top of my head I can't remember where I got mine from.

Double check the o-rings since there was a time when they only sent a partial set and you had to source the last one separately.
