^^ dont think you can do the LED thing unless you retrofit the bulb holder cause of these Euro bulbs ..

 

You can buy plug and play multi-LED that have the stock base of a filament bulb but has the circuitry built-in to make the LEDs work correctly.

 

well i know that my stock bulbs are different cause i still have all my LED's form my integra 1157's and 1156's an only the 194 fit on my 2002 passat .. maybe different on the 98's

 

www.superbrightleds.com says that the 7528 can be replaced by the 1157 and the 2825 can be replaced by th WLED Series. I couldn't figure out what the WLED Series was though.

 

so.... i need the 1157 or the 1156.... or it doesnt matter?... cause i dont want to order these shits and then have them not fit.. that will make me unhappy

 

Well I'm not into making anyone unhappy. You should give that led company a call and see if they'll be able to sell you exactly what you need. Then let us know so we can all get online and order up some of these things. They're gonna look sharp when they're installed.:thumbup:

 

1157 and 1156 are totally different (check your manual maybe?) one has two filaments, which sux for LEDs.

All my rear bulbs are LEDs from superbrightleds.com
I used 30LED bulbs in the Fog position iirc as extra brake lights(was 2 years ago).

parking lights only, bottom is just the reflector in the camera flash

add brake lights

so,
the top is the dual filament parking/brake
which means the middle would be a single filament bulb, the turn signal
and the bottom the extra brake light mod in the fog postion

If you add front LED turn signals you will need to add a resistor(which suprbrightleds sells) because the low resistance of the leds will speed up the flashers. I never added the front turn signals and my flashers worked fine.
