Were can i get the Deitz, got pics of the install direction, I would love to do this. Does it charge the Ipod too.

You must have MFD in yours, I have MFD 2 with has a different ports. that little zip cord charge the ipod or not. Thanks

Dumb question here, but I'll ask anyway, how did you maintain the CD Changer and have use of the iPod too? I'm not completely familiar with the Navi unit, assuming you're referring to the MFD unit? Does it use the aux for the iPod and CD Changer as normal?

The iPod can be connected to the MFD by either using the CD port or the AUX port. I wanted to keep my CD changer for a while so I connected the iPod to the AUX port. AFAIK the AUX port could also be used for a telephone or a TV connection.

 

OK, take this a step further (I have searched and have come up empty). Is it possible and if so, how, to retain the CD changer, yet use an ipod connection with an Icelink (which uses the CD changer port)?
Said another way, is there any device out there that allows for the use of two CD changer ports?

I understand that you used the AUX to connect your iPod, but I'm wondering if that's the only way to do it, yet still be able to use the CD changer?

 

I had wanted the same thing but AFAIK there is nothing. That's why I went through the AUX input.
