increasing throttle sensitivity in DBW?

Anybody know a way of increasing throttle sensitivity in dbw 1.8T's? My wife's saab has a sport mode which makes the throttle more sensitive. It's pretty cool. It seems like it take a lot of travel on the gas peddle to convince the car you really want to go. Anybody messed with the TBA on a vag-com to try and change this?

it caqn be increased thru the software in the ecu... most aftermarket ecu chips deal with that issue... but from what i have found drive by wire even with the chips or custom programming still doenst come close to good old fashion cable drives.

I wonder if the ecu adapts the throttle sensitivty. So if you drive like a grandma one week, you get reduced throttle sensitivity till you drive like a madman for a couple days to get it back.

Maybe something changed with the 2003, or the V6, as my drive by wire throttle seems VERY sensitive.
The car is VERY responsive, but its a bit touchy when taking off, you have to really
pay attention to opening the throttle slowly, otherwise you burn rubber, get neck snap, etc. I would like to decrease the initial throttle sensitivity.
Maybe I will look into it when the bently CD gets here, and I figure out the hex-com....

Interesting...... I came from a 2000 328i which didn't have the drive by wire. In 2001 they did. Anyway, it's taking me a while to get use to it. It seems that if you push on the gas, there is definitely a short delay and then like you say, it jumps off quick. It's not a big deal, but just something I'm adjusting to.

My 99 V6 is like that too. Too much quickness sometimes. The tip is adaptive though, so depending on how hard/easy you drive it adjusts itself.
