Do u have a link to a side profile of the black ones? I can do it w/ the angle but it will look kinda distorted. That looks like the pics from tirerack so they should also have the side?

And the chrome matchs your trim. Im all for the nice OEM not thug life 2 we die balla style dubs look, but im thinkin chrome is good this time.

Id go chrome, as I like chrome on subtle rims like those on the b5.5s cuz of the chrome trim so thats what id go with. How much do the chrome ones weigh tho?

 

well to be honest, idc about how much they weigh bc i dont drive fast/race none of that i drive slow and like the look... less wear n tear and saves gas!:thumbup: lol... but im thinkin of goin 19s instead of 18s, but the rims n tires alone if i go chrome and 19s will be about $1700, and only $1300 if i go silver n 19s... chrome 18s r about $1400, but i think i wanna stick with the 19s... idk what suspension to run with these, coils or springs/struts?

as far as suspension goes... a firm feel is fine but i dont want the neck jarring effects of some! i jus want the fenders to sit above the tires front n rear... i know i can do this with adjustable coils but from what im told no matter how good the roads r in ur area coils r sooo harsh, not to mention if i go too low ill be havin to get the cpp bolts n such... so im thinkin HnR sports with Bilstein shocks? will that get the look as the one in the photoshop pic on those rims?!?!

personally i'd go with the silver, and like speedy said, slam it. I wouldnt even ponder the springs/shocks if i were you. save a little money on silver and put it to use on coils

ok, well whoever told u that no matter how good your roads are coilovers ride suck is on crack. Minnesota has decent roads. Accompany that with my essentially no-name brand coilovers (ST.... KW daughter company), and my ride is not bad at all. On the highway it feels like it did from the factory, in the city its a little bumpier, but nothing bad. It takes a while to get used to it, but you will.

 

i agree with 1fish2fish coils are feel good, are stable and gives u the advantage of adjust ur height depending on ur needs.

 

well ps9s are always a good choice. also i know K-Sport kontrol Pro version which comes with top camber mount leveler and are awsome like blisteins.

i'm not sure about the camber, seems most people dont usually use them on the passats. i'm sure someone else will chime in here on that. But i'd look into the Bilstein PSS9's or KW's those are the best for your money.

KWs are the way to go and they ride niiiice on the V2s. Normally I'd do the chrome on the white but with as closely as those spokes are placed it might be too much. Think of the big picture. I'd do the silver. :thumbup:

 

if n when i get some coils... do u think ill run into any suspension problems runnin 19s? i only plan on droppin about a finger off the the top of the tires front n rear... do u think if i get an alignment that ill need the kmac kit?
