There are two small slits in the stereo for a removal "key". You can buy one on ebay cheap, or you can go to an Office max or staples and buy a .50 cent hanging file folder pull the hangers out and cut them to the size you need. Then slide them in the slots and pull the radio out. Its a little tricky sometimes. But you should get it.:thumbup: I will look for pics to show you.

Here is the hanger file.

Cut it to look like this,on an angle

slide it into the slots. You will only have two slots and they will go up and down and not side to side like a double din radio.

So, if i read the thread correctly, I dont need to to all the splicing for the 12v and illumination wire, just buy the harness adapter right? Also, since my factory stereo is a single din i dont need a pocket adapter?
