Are those nitrous tanks in the spare tire area? Is that safe? Looks pretty slammed.. do you have air ride suspension to bring it up for driving?

I cant see any of the pics... but if they look like tanks & judging from the conversation about airride, those "tanks" are probably air compressors/tanks. Airride is somehting that most people in here are probably not familiar with, since it really was borne of the low-riders (and more recently, the ricer-low rider crowd). They really dont have any performance gains (coilovers are true suspension tuning mods @ 1/4 the cost); they really are just for looking cool, allowing for on the fly lowering and raising, and also for cool tricks. From the limited research I have done on this culture, they ARE better (performance wise) than stock suspension. There is currently an EEP memeber getting custom air-ride suspension being fabricated.... will let you know as soon as the sucker comes out.

Here's what my car would look like thanks to the magic of Photoshop and Daniel Simek:

I've seen a lot of those guy with coilovers get somewhere to show their cars and then drop them several more inches...

Form follows function. Does this look functional on any day of the week?

It looks silly to me but whatever floats your boat Ville. More power to you and your expression.

Just know when to say no.

man, racing snaps are where it's at. just unclip the body parts whenever you have to come to an incline.

That's cool! Of course I love the color!

And a couple of

for the wheels. ICK!

But there is no way that car rolls over anything with the suspension lowered out all the way. That's a show only thing. I'm sure it got pumped back up before the car drove away.

Gotta agree. If function isn't important at the show, why not set it on the ground? That would be the ultimate in low!

Clearly I don't get it, but to each their own.

ROTFLMFAO!

True, I never thought of it that way. If it isn't driveable anyway, why not kiss the tarmac with the belly pan? The guy with the deepest depression in the pavement wins the show!

Re: Do you think your B5 is Low? (RevLordNikon)

I would guess most of these are show cars only and never see street duty. You can go all the way to the tarmac if it doesn't have to roll.
