or change your boots on time! dont wait till u have to replace joints/axles...

most people won't know when its "time" to change them. periodic visual inspections are great, but many here on this site don't have a garage to pull into every night, and if they live up north, crawling under a car is somthing you'd rarely do this in the winter (if it were outside) unless you absolutely have to!
