Hi people's. My Volkswagen is a 2104 Passat 1.8 liter engine. My car was jumping , puttering and rough idling. I took a shot in the dark and started replacing the cheapest possibilities first. I bought all 4 spark plugs and replaced two. The other two the coil packs boot is suctioned on astronomically tight "won't come off" one of the two spark plugs i did replace the ground wire dry rotted off while removing the coil pack. Will that severed ground wire on one of the spark plugs I did replace cause my car to jump worse than it did originally.

What year? Need to know so I can move it to the correct forum. After that, we can help narrow it down for you.

Please stop replacing parts without proper diagnosis. It will get very expensive and frustrating very quickly if you continue down that path.

Get the car scanned for codes as well. They are necessary to tell you where to concentrate your focus.
