I know there are those who would complain.

But for what the Camry is, its a good car.

I like the mild restyling. Is it the best car I have ever seen? Of course not, but that camry has never been that.

Its vanilla, but its good at what it does.

I don't care for the tail lights (too big), but I like the slightly revised front and the optional 3 spoke steering wheel. I actually like the styling of the Camry. It's "boring", but a lot more elegant looking than the previous generation ever was. I'd actually venture to say that the Camry is no more boring styling-wise than the Passat.

 

I like this facelift better than the design it is replacing. I could do without the new tailights, though.

 

Seems to be just as plain and inoffensive as the 2002-2004 versions. But bland (though purposeful) styling inside and out has always been a successful strategy for the Camry, and I'm sure it will have no problem garnering the title of "best selling car in the U.S." in 2005, as it has in previous years.

Just as bland as ever. What's to really like?

 

The NAV is nice. Helluva lot better than trying to read that 1x2" rectangle on the Audi's (except for the A8L w/ the popup thing, that's still a pain in the ass to read since its so far away).

 

 

Did it mate with a Mercury Sable?

 

It is an emotionless car still. For those that need a reliable appliance like a refridgerator, it should be a great buy. For those of us that want an IMAX experience look elsewhere.

 

I'm sure it will go 200,000 miles without ever opeing the hood (other than opil changes)...but those would be the most boring 200,000 miles of your life...but it would be perfect for the non-enthusiast crowd...

 

I could do without the new tailights, though.

the taillights look a little like the new Legacy.
it's a decent car -- sure beats the Taurus, Malibu, Grand Prix, Altima and XG300.

I agree with Nick, it's like vanilla ice cream, but good vanilla.

 

It's better than some of it's competition. I think it's a little plain but good for what it is. I think I like the Accord interior better than the Camry. I hate those tail lights though these and the one previous - they are HUGE!
