Not to hijack, but I may be interested also for my A4. The Euro is MUCH better. Can that be installed in US models?

 

What nav do you have in your B5? If aftermarket, why not use the same system?

 

The Audi navigational system for North American market is a pain of an ass to use. While the buttons are located right beside the shifter, the screen is on the instrument panel instead of the center console. It doesn't have the cleanliness and userfulness of other nav system, say one in Infiniti and Lexus.

 

My B5 has the OE VW one and when I move to an Audi (very soon I think) I want OE as well.

Really? It's that bad? Even in older models? 2001-2002s?

I'll have to find some to take a look. Is the 04 navi the same?

Yes to all of the above.

The Euro version is suppose to be pretty good, but I have a feelign you can't get new world maps on it.
