Where can i get one? how hard is the install? i remember there being a group buy for these a while back but i couldnt get in on it.

Stranded....

Go to SPP on the left where all the parts are. Between seats and suspension. Then go all the way down.......it's right before the intercooler. They don't have any pics though.

and it says on their site it is for a 1.8T.... will it work on a v6?

You know the evoms has one too....... right? Look under the A4 though since it's listed only for them but seen others having 'em in the passat. I think you gotta pull the front end out a little bit like you would with pulley kit or timing belt. I'm not sure about that though.

There is more room on the V6 so you'll probably be able to do the install without pulling the front end. The EVOMS and SPP kits use the same Spal low profile fan.

There's actually way less room on the V6 . . . . huge engine bay discrepancy between the V6 and 1.8t.

That EFK says its for the 1.8T, Cam has a V6.

Explain that one?

i have the evo EFK and installed it myself. I pulled off the bumpercover and then you have more than enough room to work. it takes 5-10 minutes to remove the bumper. Well worth your time

honestly I installed it at the same time I installed my FMIC. either way, it is not a mod you would feel

Interesting. I looked at a B5.5 with the V6 and there was a lot more room between the fan and the radiator. I would think an engine that is three cylinders long would be much shorter than one four cylinders long.

Don't forget the B5.5s are longer up in front. I invite you to come over and look at my V6 and tell me that it has more room than a 1.8t.

I think you'll get decent gain if you get the ECS pulley kit and EFK both done at the same time.

was doing a timimg belt job and did it all the same time
soo it was a big difference
efk, ecs pulley, and bypassed fan pulley with shorter belt.
