I called VW in Princeton to get a quote on 2 things I want to get done. First is replacing the Accuator in the Driver's side door, and second is replacing the wheel sensor. I already know they charge $92 per hour.

The service area secretary couldn't handle my call. I guess I knew too much  So she put on the service guy. This guy was a complete A-hole. I told him what I needed. I knew what had to be done. I had already bought the accuator from that specific dealer and they were leary on putting it in  He treated me like I bought it off Ebay or something. I was like "Look, I bought the part and don't have time to put it in. How much time is allowed for this job???? And the sensor job" He started to say how they would need to look everything over to determin what's wrong .....etc....

I said I already have the diagnostic report from Flemington VW that says the sensor is bad. I am not going to pay again to have you tell me the same thing. I even said I would bring the report. This is a sister dealership and they won't take the other report and go with what it said? The guy was a jerk off. Finally after arguing about his stupidness, I finally said "Fine, I'll just take it to Flemington" And the bastard just hung up!!!!

I'm going to call and talk to the guy who runs the place. I know him on a personl level in that I was considering working there doing Internet sales. That service guy needs a swift kick in the ass!

or a swift kick in the balls :)
I mean was I wrong?

Should I let the dealer run ANOTHER test and pay for it again? Basically, the guy didn't want to say they would look at it for nothing. I think they should at least look at it for nothing. They make a million dollars an hour as it is :thumbdow:

Things like this is why I am selling my car. VW has terrible quality and terrible customer service. I have read Post after post about bad customer service at different dealers as well as witnessing it myself.
Well, I think car "quality" is good, but the service deptartment made me feel like I was speaking another language or something. Maybe I was missing something, but I just felt like I was spinning my wheels speaking to the guy  Maybe I was looking for him to agree with me and I was somehow asking the impossible :???:
