I'm hearing a sort of rubbing/grinding noise
on the passenger front wheel area when the car is moving over slight bumps or when I turn the steering wheel clockwise - it doesn't do this when the wheel is turned towards the left. I took the passenger front wheel off and could see no leaks in the joints or anything unusual. I was running 15-inch rims when this started, I'm back to 17-inch rims and it still continues and is getting worse.
Is the hydraulic engine mount or the tie rod ends on the pasenger side gone? Your comments.
This is not the usual clunk since I installed Sway bar links from ECS Tuning last year. I also checked the timing belt tghis weekend and it looks good.
I have a 1999 :b5: V6 with 80K miles.
