Alternator installation help needed

I am trying to wiggle my new alternator into position. Taking the old one out was a lot easier. I can't find the right angle to get it into that tight space. I think if I were able to remove the upper mounting bracket it would slip in a whole lot easier. Looks like 2 allen head screws from the front plus 2 10mm socket heads from the front plus another allen head from the bottom that I can access from under the car. Am I going to screw up the alignment of the alternator if I remove the bracket until I slip the unit in? Looks like the 5 screws will relocate just fine. It's a V6 ATQ.Thanks for any input.

I can't imagine that the alternator mounting points on an ATQ are any different that an AHA. It took a bit, but I managed to get it to wiggle into the right spot when I changed mine - it took a bit, but I figured if it came out that way, it HAS to go back in that way.

Removing the bracket made it really easy to slip the new alternator in. See bracket #10 in picture. Had to remove the 3 M8 bolts and the 2 other screws that attach other components to this bracket. The only issue was re-attaching the bottom angled M8 bolt from under the car. I had to use a universal swivel adapter and long extentions.
Also to create more room I removed the auxhilary fan, and just moved it to the other side until I got the alternator out and back in. For this I took the bottom screw out that holds the vertical brace between the fans, and that allowed me to swing it to the other side.
Saved a few bucks for sure. By the way, mine was a Valeo alternator that gave up the ghost at 155K miles.
