if i'm going low on coils next year.. i need to learn this pearches stuff.. does it affect how the car drives?

the rear perches/adjusters didn't affect the ride too much at least with my setup. Really depends on the coils you have.

It only lowers the rear like another cm so it's not a huge difference at all. If anything, it makes the rear more bouncy but that's it.

it the rear perches out lowered mine quite a bit more than that
