Hey all,

Today i went over a small snowbank, and apparantly it was the last the car could handle. I heard a big ppppsh, and the belly pan broke off and it was cracked pretty badly (in the pictures its behind me, it was on before hand). I tried to drive the car some more, but i noticed that something was dragging on the ground and it wasnt snow. I was in my driveway at the time (it actually happened pulling into the garage, the plow left a small strip there in front of it and i went over it). I have no idea what it is, its some sort of guard rail or something? Its metal for sure.

Pics:

2002 VW B5.5 V6 GLX (if needed). Any ideas? Driveable if i bend it back up? What is that parts purpose?

Thanks,

TJ

Don't blame the snow .. belly pans can only stand so much .. shovel the driveway entrance.

Since you're replacing the belly pan anyway (yes, use the W8 one) spring for a new support bracket and associated hardware.
Pan should be no more than 75.00, all of the rest of the parts about 35.00.
