Hi Everyone.

Been reading this site since after a few days after getting my new (old) car. Yes, old, some 74K km driven - and from Y2K- by my father who drives like a 70 year-old, so now it is my job to teach the car the basics :D

This is my 4th car, previous list - Ford Escort XR3 Cabrio, E30 325i BMW (still have it and is being turbocharged), Audi A6 2.6 Avant from 1995

So enough about that. The new car is nice. Not yet anything for speed-freaks and design gurus but I see a lot of potential and the wish list I have for this car keeps on growing almost every day. Hope my wallet agrees in a long run, and my girlfriend... (It is either the new kitchen or the Passat mod list :p)

Been having this car for about 1 month now. Mods so far:

1) Audi TT wheel well liner mod

2) All red taillights

3) Black mesh grille

4) Xenon-krypton (xenon look) lightbulbs and LED parklights (ultra white or even blue atually)

5) Defa additional security box, operated by original key

6) 18" RS4 replicas with 225/40 tires

At the moment I also have a Zender 3 piece rear wing, front spoiler add-on and am waiting for some more parts like bad-boy eyebrow, sides and rear valance + keyless entry parts to get them painted all together. Also my plans include to et all the motor compartment covers, aero wipers and some more stuff like that. Plus a chip and maybe something on the exhaust side after a few months. Sadly I also have to get a trailer tow-bar?", hopefully there is such a model that is not very visible...

oh my god, oh my god, oh yeah!!!!

My heart started pumping 3x faster than the average safety limit for us humans when my 18" RS4 replicas arrived just a few hours ago. Now, they are seated nicely under my silver Passat and damn the car looks at least 10x as hot as before.
If only every mod could give such satisfaction... pics soon to come

Q: also, tell me what you think. Should I put the VW wheel stick-ons onto the wheel centers or leave it like this?

WITHOUT:

WITH:

I think with these, the wheels look somewhat smaller and not so nice, also I plan to paint the lowers in the near future so even less black stripes etc. left on the car... why go for the chrome on black vw emblems..

At the moment I think I need to lower the car about 2 inches to make it look nice again, damn then I also have to replace the shocks for sure...

thanks!

could not help it today and ordered the new KONISport kit (yellow adjustable shocks and blue -35mm springs, both by KONI ofcourse) that I will get my hands on next tuesday.

Also received some engine covers I tried modding into place, but only had an hour to do this so I could not finish. Will do that hopefully tomorrow and post pics.

I am dead soon, as with such a rate:

a) I'll run out of money soon
b) I'll run out of mods left
c) I'll have to run out of the house as my girlfriend wants to kick my ass :D

...and you can continue the list

xjanPST, your car looks great! I really like the RS4 style wheels on a Silver Passat, very classy, good choice. Welcome to the EU too! I'm originally from Finland myself.

Yeah, I now have the KONI Sport kit with adjustable Koni shocks and -35mm blue lowering springs in my trunk :p

Installation on thursday morning + hopefully will get APRed during the weekend, if I like it (will go for the demo-chip at first).
