My folks bought an '05 TDI wagon last year. The dealer goofed on the order and ended up giving them the 17" alloys he had on a similar car. Problem is, they don't like the mileage hit or having to shell out for more expensive tires.

I'm hoping I can find a set of stock alloys for them that should have come with that car. But I don't know if they would have been 15" or 16" (i.e., they never asked for anything special) or even what the name of the wheel is.

Can anyone help me narrow down which wheel it would have been, and does anyone have any for sale? With or without tires is fine.

TIA.

WTB: Stock alloys for '05 Passat

I have a set of 15" wellingtons off a 2001.5 GLS 1.8T. Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks for the response.

Is it Wellingtons that they were putting on the B5.5 all the way up to 2005? For some reason I thought they switched to a 16" wheel after '02 or so.

from 2002 - 2003, the 1.8t came with 15" wellingtons. 2004 they came with 15" michigans. 2004.5+ they came with 16" road americas.

for 2002-2004, the v6 came with 16" road americas and starting from 2004.5, i believe they came with 17" phoenix... but i'm not 100% certain.

Thanks for the clarification, that's a huge help.

Dumb question alert: There's no reason I can't put 15" Wellingtons or Michigans on the '05, is there?
