theyre strong because theyre stainless steel, but theyre much thicker than standard modular lips.

yet i've seen a few sets of those that have been completely demolished by road debris where a forged aluminum lip wouldve held up better

where did you come up with this BS? It's only the outer rim (not the center section or the inner rim) that's steel and even that's a lightweight steel. According to Schmidt these wheels are lighter than aluminum alloy wheels.
