Hey check it out i just finished installing my vdo boost gauge on my b5 passat!!

I should have taken pics when I was driving but this is when the car is at idle (obviously)

When i was driving it would get to about 7-8 psi is that normal?

Only mods are a K&N cone filter and a Neuspeed cat-back exhaust.

Thanks let me kno what you guys think!! :D

Nice, yes 7-8 PSI is normal. I got one like that a few months ago. I installed it myself, it wasn't hard to do, just time consuming.

Here's mine:

Yea it really wasn't that hard at all. It took maybe about an hour hour and half tops. Although i think my boost gauge is calibrated wrong because when i turn the car off its not exactly at zero. its a little below it. Is there anyway i can fix that?

LOL, I got it off e-bay. Back when I got it like 2 years ago, I got it by itself for $400 Canadian. That included shipping/taxes/duties. It came from Germany and only took 2 days to get to me. I got the air bag used from a scrap yard close to my town. I also had my independent mechanic install it for me because I was worried about breaking the air bag or something.

I just installed mine the other day too! I love it :)

Its so much more responsive than my Autometer boost gauge was

And my gauge is off a little bit too when the car is off. It's like -.5 Hg
